Hi, and welcome to HomeSwingLab.
This site exists for one reason: buying golf practice gear for your home is confusing and expensive, and a lot of what you read online is written to sell rather than to help. Launch monitors, simulator enclosures, impact screens, hitting mats and nets all come with spec sheets full of numbers that are hard to compare, and the “best of” lists often seem to recommend whatever pays the highest commission.
We want to be the friendly, straight-talking resource we wished we had when we started looking into home setups.
What we cover
- Home and garage golf simulators, from simple net-and-mat setups to full enclosures
- Launch monitors, both radar and camera-based
- Hitting mats, nets, impact screens and enclosures
- Room planning: ceiling height, depth, width, and what actually fits
How we work (the honest version)
We are a small, independent site. We do not run a testing facility, and we will never pretend we hit a thousand balls on something we haven’t used. Instead, our guides are built on careful research: manufacturer manuals and setup requirements, published specifications, reputable independent reviews, retailer data, and the experience of real owners in golf communities. When we say something, we try to tell you where it came from.
If we ever do get hands-on time with a product, we’ll say so clearly in that article, along with exactly what we did with it.
You can read the details on our How We Review page.
How the site is funded
Some links on HomeSwingLab may be affiliate links, which means we can earn a commission if you buy, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend, and we’re happy to tell you when the cheaper option (or not buying anything yet) is the smarter move. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
